A tiny microinjection of the muscle-relaxing medication is strategically injected into each masseter. This literally takes seconds.

How long does it last?

What are the possible complications?
Complications are not common. But these are the possible complications:

Over-shrinkage of the Masseter muscle can make the cheeks look hollow. This will settle with time.

An asymmetrical smile that will settle with time.

Paradoxical bulging of the Masseter. You may need additional injection as this is usually due to unusually large Masseter muscles.
What other procedures are available to achieve a V-line face shape?
This depends on what is causing the square-shaped face. There are many causes. It can be due to bulky masseters, chubbiness (fat), loose skin, prominent jaw, or a short chin. There are various methods of producing a beautiful slimmer jawline.
